Description
Our Fallen Soldier Statue is a beautiful hand-cast bronze urn that is a true work of art depicting the iconic battlefield cross. Fallen Soldier Statue is a memorial to a fallen or missing soldier, complete with the soldier’s boots, bayonet, helmet, rifle, and sometimes dog tags. As the name suggests, it was erected on or near the battlefield to allow a soldier’s fellow soldiers to pay their respects and begin dealing with their losses. Do not hold ashes. Dog tags are sometimes placed on rifles, and the boots of dead soldiers can be placed next to them. Fallen Soldier Statue is meant to show respect and respect for the dead on the battlefield. The practice began during World War I as a mark of respect for those who gave their lives in wartime combat. Although it is less used today as a means of identification, the Fallen Soldier statue is still a way for the living to mourn, as attending funerals is not always possible for soldiers still in combat.
